The Lazarus Quartet will be taking their programme of Mozart, Beethoven and Bartok to audiences throughout New Zealand, travelling the length of the country as they play at venues from Dunedin to Waiheke Island.

Originally formed in Christchurch, the ensemble is now resident in Berlin.

David Morriss caught up with two of the current members: first violinist Mayumi Kanagawa and cellist Alice Gott, who is from New Zealand and one of the founding members of the ensemble.
