Senior Police from around the Pacific met in Nadi recently to review their progress on gender advocacy within the police force and work to elminate violence against women.

They first met a year ago in a training programme run by the Australian Federal Police and the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre to raise the level of awareness about human rights and gender equality.

The Coordinator of the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre, Shamima Ali spoke with Jenny Meyer about meeting up again with the Police Gender Advocates.
