Bomana asylum seekers victims of 'flawed' PNG process

A refugee advocate says asylum seekers sent to a new detention centre in Papua New Guinea are the victims of a flawed process.

About 50 men deemed to be non-refugees or negatives were moved to Port Moresby's Bomana prison at the weekend.

The advocate, Anne Moon, says PNG's refugee determination process was a farce and many men refused to take part.

Ben Robinson Drawbridge spoke to Anne Moon, who says there are about 85 non-refugees left in PNG.
