The world's view on foreign aid has changed and that has the development community worried.

A recent poll by New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade shows a sharp decline in public support for aid.

Today New Zealand's Council for International Development, which represents NGOs working in the foreign aid sector, is holding its annual conference with the theme 'Beyond Aid:Partnerships for the Future.'

The CID executive director, Josie Pagani, told Don Wiseman about the issues they are confronting and what they hope to do about them.
