An Irish layman's view on the rugby

From Afternoons, 1:17 pm on 18 October 2019

Not sure whether you've heard ... but there's a big rugby match tomorrow night.

The All Blacks are playing Ireland in the World Cup quarter-finals. Kickoff at 11.15pm.

It's a match that has far-reaching consequences. It'll decide who makes the semi-finals. It's not a bad bet to say the winner might go on to take out the whole competition.

And, if Ireland win, the city of Dublin may well no longer exist on Sunday.

So we thought we'd get Irish comedian Alan McElroy in for a chat about how he's feeling about everything.
