We announce the winner of the Lego Critter competition

From Afternoons, 3:32 pm on 3 April 2020

We tasked the Lego fans of New Zealand with creating a native New Zealand critter out of Lego. And boy did they come through. We got hundreds of entries! And they were all simply brilliant.

It was very, very hard to pick the winner, but we managed it. So a huge congratulations to Maddie who was inspired by the eel she saw in the Liffey Stream on her daily lockdown walk around Lincoln

The winning entry: 10 year old Maddie's lego Tuna (fresh water eel)
