Citizen scientists undertake first survey of Taranaki penguin

From Checkpoint, 6:25 pm on 27 June 2019

A first of its kind study of little blue penguin in North Taranaki is being credited with giving the at-risk bird a better chance of survival in the region. "Finding Little Blue" is the brainchild of the Ng_a Motu Marine Society which teamed up with local school children to make it a reality. Our Taranaki Whanganui reporter Robin Martin joined them at Urenui beach.
