New Zealand and Australia have launched a joint bid to host the women's football world cup in 2023.
Thirty-two nations will compete at the tournament - up from the 24 which competed in France this year.
The 'As One' joint bid pits New Zealand and Australia against Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, South Africa, and North and South Korea who've all expressed interest in hosting the tournament.
Sports minister Grant Robertson told sports editor Stephen Hewson when football's governing body FIFA increased the size of the tournament earlier this year, it made sense to link with Australia.
FIFA will make a decision on the host nation or nations in May.
