US protests continue as Trump threatens military response

In the United States now where US President Donald Trump has today declared himself a "President of Law and Order", and threatened to deploy the military to cities across the country to end a week of civil unrest.

George Floyd's death has officially been declared a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner and his family-commissioned autopsy revealed he suffered a cardio-pulmonary arrest whilst being restrained by law enforcement officers.

Just one officer Derek Chauvin, has been charged over his death so far, sparking nationwide protests, destruction and looting throughout the weekend.
