If you were listening to Checkpoint last night, you might've heard Lisa Owen's interview with Hannah Tamaki, co-leader and wife of Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki. Yesterday Destiny church announced the launch of a new political party, led by Ms Tamaki, called Coalition New Zealand. Despite being a co-leader of Destiny Church, Ms Tamaki says Coalition New Zealand is not a Christian party. But Lisa Owen did push Ms Tamaki on her views on homosexual relationships. Hannah Tamaki mentions Professor Peter Lineham in her interview. Professor Lineham is from the Auckland Rainbow Community Church and is a Professor of religion and society and Massey University. In 2013 he wrote a book on Destiny church and joins Indira.
