Small fluffy dinosaurs could survive polar Australia

From First Up, 5:34 am on 20 November 2019

Rare 118-million-year-old Fossil feathers discovered in Australia show the first evidence that polar dinosaurs were in Australia. These 'proto feathers' could suggest smaller, fluffy dinosaurs were able to live and keep warm in extreme polar habitats. The study involved a number of scientists from research institutes all over the world including Slovakia, the US, Australia, and Sweden Dr Benjamin Kear is the curator of vertebrate Paleaontology at Uppsala University in Sweden and one of the lead authors of the study, he spoke to First Up's Ellie Jay about the find.
