New Warriors owners pleased to have deal done

Months of speculation and negotiations came to an end yesterday when the sale of the Warriors rugby league club was officially confirmed. The majority stakeholder in the NRL franchise will be the Carlaw Park Trust, which is an arm of the Auckland Rugby League. An Auckland business with a long-standing history of supporting rugby league, Autex Industries, has partnered with the Trust in the purchase. After the announcement at Mt Smart Stadium late yesterday afternoon, Clay Wilson spoke with Carlaw Park Trust and Auckland Rugby League chairperson Cameron McGregor.
