Engineering NZ says basic mistakes ending up in buildings

An unprecedented investigation prompted by poor earthquake design has found widespread problems with major building jobs. Engineering New Zealand says basic mistakes are being made and then slipping past an inadequate system of checks and balances - and ending up in buildings. It also turns out, there's not even a system to get a grasp on the problem. Phil Pennington reports.
