Returning for its second year, Milk & Honey Music Festival will celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday March 8, with a FREE event at Auckland’s Silo Park.

The 2020 lineup includes hip-hop queen JessB, indie duo She’s So Rad, drum’n’bass boss Tali, dreamy electronic duo Imugi, r’n’b powerhouse Disciple Pati, and some of the best performers from Girls Rock Aotearoa.

DJs Phoebe Falconer and Eva Choy will join the line-up alongside the debut performance from DJ duo The Gingham Twins – Music 101's very own Charlotte Ryan, and Alice Murray.
The team behind Milk & Honey, music industry heavyweights Julia Deans, Lani Purkis (Elemeno P), and Teresa Patterson are excited to return for 2020.
“We are thrilled that M&H is returning and with a new format for 2020. We have curated a line up that celebrates genre, ethnic and rainbow diversity. The collaboration with Silo Park has allowed a fantastic new work environment for our behind-the-scenes and backstage women whanau,” the milk & Honey team says.
The women-led theme extends to the food on offer at the festival which includes Choice Blocks, started by Arana Horncy as a way to give her kids natural treats, and Let's Brezel, run by mother and daughter duo Claudia Reis-Bahiri and Gala Williams who were craving their traditional German baked treat.
Other food trucks include Israeli street food specialist Carmel, organic popcorn artists Organic Knowledge, wood-fire and grill specialists Mediterranean Bites, North American bakers The Pie Piper and coffee warriors Samaori Coffee.
