RNZ wins eight categories at NZ Radio Awards

RNZ and its journalists have won eight awards at the 2020 NZ Radio Awards.

RNZ In-Depth investigative reporter Guyon Espiner won best news or sport journalist, and Katie Scotcher won best new journalist.

The White Silence podcast - produced with Stuff - won two awards: best news / current affairs podcast and best documentary podcast.

RNZ's weekly documentary series Insight won best daily or weekly feature, while RNZ Checkpoint producers Pip Keane, Catherine Wallbridge and Bridget Burke won best show producer.

RNZ also won best marketing campaign, while Best Children's Programme was snagged by Moe Makes Music.
