A person has critical injuries after being stabbed in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe this evening.
Police said they were called to the intersection of Hotoe Avenue and Huau Road at about 7.30pm.
The victim has been taken to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition.
One person has been arrested and is in police custody.
