One person has died following a single vehicle crash in Te Puke earlier today.
The single vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Number Three Road and Macloughlin Road shortly after 12.30pm.
Police said initial indications suggest the crash was due to a medical event.
In separate incident shortly after 3pm this afternoon in Hamilton, a person died after a vehicle crashed at the intersection of Old Farm Road and Nottingham Drive.
And a woman has been charged in relation to a fatal crash in North Otago this morning.
The 28-year-old is due in Dunedin District Court tomorrow charged with careless driving causing death.
A motorcyclist died following a crash with a car on the road leading into Moeraki township.
