Police have arrested a man who caused Cambridge shools to go into lockdown after a police pursuit today.

Officers spotted a vehicle they'd been looking for on Tirau Rd near Karapiro around midday.
It drove off at speed, heading north.
The vehicle was eventually found on the Waikato Expressway near Thorndon Rd in Cambridge.
Several schools and daycares went into lockdown as a result, but the man was found a short time later and arrested without incident.
