Itzhak - a boy who loved the violin is a beautifully illustrated account of violinist Itzhak Perlman's early life and career that will inspire and delight young musicians.

Young Itzhak was mesmerised by the music he heard on his family's kitchen radio in their humble Tel Aviv apartment and so began playing the violin at four years old. A dangerous bout of polio left him unable to run or jump - but it couldn't stop his passion for the violin.

If you would like to go into the draw to win Itzhak - a boy who loved the violin. The story of a young itzhak Perlman by Tracy Newman and illustrated by Abigail Halpin, answer the following question:

What country was Itzhak Perlman born in?

Email your answer to: Daybreak@rnz.co.nz

The closing date for entries is 28 February and we will draw the competition on air on RNZ Concert after 8am Monday 1 March, 2021
