Talented Kiwis are spread around the globe, creating magnificent art.

Auckland-Born Sculptor Marian Fountain is based in Paris and has created The Earth Remembers, which marks New Zealand’s involvement in World War 1, particularly in the northern French city of Arras where New Zealanders helped build the tunnel system. Correspondent Vincent O’Donnell travelled to Paris to find out more about the work.

This week we’re featuring the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra – 2018 marks their 130th year. The orchestra has strong links with Mahler, and today’s performance is of the composer’s Fourth Symphony conducted by the Concertgebouw’s current chief conductor, Daniele Gatti.
