Guam records 61st Covid-19 death, confirms more coronavirus cases

Guam has recorded its 61st Covid-19 death on the same day it recorded almost 100 new cases of the coronavirus.

The latest victim, a 50-year-old man with underlying health conditions, died at Guam Memorial Hospital yesterday after being admitted over the weekend.

Also yesterday, Guam recorded another 96 coronavirus cases, taking their total to 3266, 1015 of which active.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero said with each death announcement her heart gets heavier with emotion.

She appealed to people to continue to practice the necessary precautions saying individual actions affect everyone.
