The Northern Marianas has an additional COVID-19 case after an individual was confirmed positive yesterday.

The 105th person to test positive for the coronavirus was identified by travel screening and confirmed diagnosis through fifth-day testing.
Following protocol, the individual had been safely placed quarantine but was moved to a designated isolation area for monitoring.
Contact tracing for the most immediate contacts of the new confirmed case, including passengers on the same flight, have begun.
Out of the 105 total confirmed cases in the CNMI, 79 are from incoming passengers.
Of these, 36 are from the US mainland, 32 from Guam, and 11 from foreign countries.
The CNMI has now gone 102 days without any community transmission.
Its last local case was the 51st person confirmed positive in early August.
In related news, while local health authorities are aiming for an overall goal of having the Covid-19 vaccine available to everyone, they predict to have 95 percent of the local population vaccinated by 2021.
Since the vaccine was being provided to the CNMI by the US government, it would be available free of charge.
