Paper spiders is an American art-film about a teenager growing up with a mother with mental health issues.  Stars US/NZ actor Stephania LaVie Owen (Sweet Tooth) and Lili Taylor (I shot Andy Warhol).

 

 

Huda’s Salon sees a Palestinian hairdresser blackmail her clients into spying for the Israeli Secret Service.   Directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise now).

 

 

 

And Evil Dead Rise sees the return of the popular horror-comedy franchise.   Produced by Rob Tapert (Xena Warrior Princess) and shot in Auckland.
