1.20  Dinah Lee 'The original Mod Girl' - On tour with Tami Neilson 

The original Mod Girl is living back in NZ and heading out on a  Rock’n’Roll Revue with Tami Neilson.

Dinah Lee became a household name in the 60s with her hit songs Do The Blue Beat, Don’t You Know Yockomo and Reet Petite.
She set fashion trends in the 60s and 70s, and since the 1960s has toured throughout the world and in 2020 she was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

Dinah Lee is without doubt the most successful and prominent Australasian female pop star from the Sixties … and as such, remains a true icon, holding an place as a pioneer in the world among female performers.

We speak to Dinah Lee, the original Mod Girl is about to hit the road with Tami Nielson, we speak to her about her long lasting career.

Margie Robertson is the founder, designer and creative director if the Dunedin Based fashion label - she established NOM*d in 1986 with her partner Chris Robertson.

The label has shown at London Fashion week, been worn by celebrities including Rhianna , has a very loyal following - and is showing a new collection at NZ Fashion Week at the end of the month.
