Wednesday 4th October in Auckland, Spark Arena hosted the Silver Scroll Awards, the APRA-voted ceremony focused on songwriting. 

Tony Stamp went along with his trusty sound device and interviewed some of the finalists backstage.

2:45 Speech Act Theory Live at RNZ

Local electronica band 'Speech Act Theory' have just released their Self-Titled Debut EP.

They stopped by the RNZ studio’s in Auckland for a live session to perform three tracks from it.

4pm  The Mixtape: Ariana Tikao 

Ariana Tikao is a gifted musician, singer, taonga puoro practitioner and New Zealand arts laureate. She writes waiata poetry and creative nonfiction exploring themes relating to her kai tahu identity and mana wahine, often drawing on historical korero from her tupuna. Kara Rickard had the privilege of delving into her mahi her music and some of the waiata that have punctuated stops along her journey.
