Friday Night Live: Julia Deans

From RNZ Music, 8:00 pm on 13 September 2019

Singer-songwriter-guitarist Julia Deans started out in Wellington playing in Celtic rock band Banshee Reel before moving on to front popular rockers Fur Patrol, best known for the number one hit ‘Lydia’ in 2000.

After releasing three albums as Fur Patrol and moving to Melbourne to focus on a wider Australian audience, Julia then released her first solo album ‘Modern Fables’ in 2010 that featured the song ‘A New Dialogue’ an APRA Silver Scroll finalist from that year.

Here are a selection of RNZ live sessions by Julia Deans and Fur Patrol we recorded between 2008 and 2018.
