Three-month love triangle: Rom-com or reality check?

"Hey Courtney!

I'm currently experiencing one of the best moments of my life. I'm starting a new job, preparing to move to NZ, and regaining confidence.

However, my partner just confessed that during the initial months of our relationship, he was also dating another girl. They were together for 3 months, and he only revealed this to me 2 years later.

What should I do? Should I stay in the relationship, or should I start taking new selfies to update my Tinder profile?"

Vex and the city

"Kia ora Courtney!!

Something that's been playing on my mind but I'm too embarrassed to ask my friends about. I've got a lot of stress in my life at the moment and I've been noticing myself being really really rude to people for no reason and I can't make myself stop. If strangers on the street get in my way, I'll make an exasperated noise. I got given the wrong order at a café today and I was so impatient and unkind to the poor staff I almost went back and apologised (and I used to work in hospo, so I know how it feels, which makes it even worse!!). In the moment I feel so annoyed at minor inconveniences. I can't help but feel like living in a big city has done this to me, my life is so fast paced now and there's a million strangers everywhere. I feel like my patience and good manners are disappearing. Help?"

10:17 Children losing thousands of words due to screentime

New research out of Australia found the average three-year-old could be missing out on thousands of words a day from hundreds of opportunities to talk to their parents thanks to modern screen use.

Published by the Telethon Kids Institute, the study examined the screen time habits of 220 families with toddlers.

10:30 Kiwis' cocaine usage going up

The Drug Foundation's latest report on drug use here in Aotearoa paints an interesting picture on who are consuming illegal substances and what they're taking.

Cocaine use has seen a significant increase in usage over the past year, while more common drugs like MDMA and methamphetamine have had a slight decrease.

But what is still consistent is that drugs continue to be used by people in every city, town and region up and down Aotearoa.

Drug Foundation policy director Dr Jacek Kolodziej joins Emile Donovan.

10:45 Dunedin mayor goes pink for international popstar

US pop singer Pink played to a 35,000-strong crowd in Dunedin last night, the first of three shows in New Zealand.

The singer is one of the most popular artists across Australia in New Zealand in history, with more than 700,000 tickets to her tour sold across the Tasman.

Among her fans is Dunedin's very own mayor, Jules Radich.

He gives Emile Donovan an exclusive review of her concert.

Jules Radich smiles broadly at the camera. He holds his jacket open to show a pink tshirt with the gothic logo "DUNEDIN". He is standing in the mosh of the Pink concert. There are large bright screens behind him, and hundreds of people.
