A woman found dead on Wellington's waterfront early yesterday has been named.

Sarah Pauline Louise Mayne, who was 48, was pulled from the water at Whairepo Lagoon yesterday morning.
Police said the cause of her death and the events leading up to it were still unexplained.
They would like to speak to anyone who was near the lagoon between 9pm on Friday and 3am on Saturday.
