Police are investigating an unexplained death in Upper Hutt after a disorder incident last night.

Officers arrived on Main Street about 6pm and found the man unconscious on the street.
They performed CPR but he died at the scene.
A scene examination is ongoing, and police said they were still working to understand the circumstances of the man's death.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out.
