State Highway 3 in South Taranaki is open again after closing due to a serious crash this morning.
Police said the two-car crash was reported about 9.30am.
One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Earlier in the day, police said SH3's southbound lane was closed at Eltham, in South Taranaki.
Motorists were asked to delay travelling, or to avoid the area.
