Firefighters are checking for hot spots after a fire at a commercial building in central Auckland early this morning.
Fire and Emergency says 13 trucks were sent at 3.05am to Manukau Road in the suburb of Epsom.
The two-storey building has shops on the ground floor and apartments on the second.
Residents were evacuated with no reports of any injuries.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and investigations are underway.
