Searchers are looking for a fisherman missing after being swept off rocks in west Auckland this afternoon.

A police Eagle helicopter, the Coastguard and LandSAR are all involved in the search at Whatipu Beach, after emergency services were called about 1.45pm.
The police said the search and and rescue teams are focusing on the area around Ninepin Rock, a jagged outcrop at the Manukau Heads.
And on the West Coast the body of a man was found at the mouth of the Okarito River this morning.
Police said it has been removed from the lagoon and a formal identification process is under way.
The death is being referred to the coroner.
