Two people have been arrested in Blenheim after allegedly stealing flowering plants from Pollard Park in the early hours of Monday morning.
A 40-old man and 57-year-old woman were apprehended shortly after 1.30am after a member of the public called police to report suspicious behaviour.
Police found the pair, as well as 17 flowering plants that had allegedly been dug up from the park's garden beds.
The flowers were replanted by the attending officers.
Both were due to appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday, charged with theft.
The woman also faces two drug-related charges.
