Police are investigating the unexplained death of a woman in the Tauranga suburb of Bethlehem.
Officers were called to an Aria View property about 6.20pm on Sunday, and discovered the woman deceased inside the house.
A scene guard has remained in place overnight and CIB members are expected to return to the scene today.
Police said in a statement they would have several officers in the area today as they continued to make inquiries into the circumstances of the woman's death.
