Fire crews have been battling a house fire near Tūrangi.
Six fire trucks, two water tankers and two support vehicles were called to the scene on Tuesday morning after multiple calls to Fire and Emergency.
On arrival, FENZ said they found the house "well involved" with fire.
The blaze has been extinguished, with crews dampening down hot spots.
A fire investigator will be attending the scene later on Tuesday.
St John said it did not attend.
