White Ferns players up for ICC awards

White Ferns captain Sophie Devine and allrounder Amelia Kerr have both been nominated for ICC cricket awards.

Devine has been named as one of the finalists for the International T20 women's cricketer of the year and Kerr is a finalist for the International ODI cricketer of the year.

Black Caps batter Finn Allen is a finalist for the men's emerging player of the year award.

The other finalists in the T20 category are Tahlia McGrath of Australia, Smriti Mandhana of India and Nida Dar of Pakistan.

The other ODI finalists are Nat Sciver of England, Shabnim Ismail of South Africa and Alyssa Healy of Australia.

Devine scored 389 runs in 14 matches at an average of 29.92 and took 13 wickets in T20 internationals this year.

Under her leadership, New Zealand won 11 out of 14 games this year, including one Super Over win over West Indies in the fourth T20I in Antigua.

Kerr scored 676 runs and took 17 wickets in 18 ODI matches during the year.

The men's T20 finalists are Suryakumar Yadav of India, Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe, Sam Curran of England and Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan.

The men's ODI finalists are Babar Azam of Pakistan, Adam Zampa of Australia, Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe and Shai Hope of the West Indies.

The shortlists for the overall men and women's Cricketer of the Year will be announced tomorrow.

The winners will be announced in January.
