Imogen Thirlwall is a New Zealand soprano who’s been based in Germany for the last few years.

She’s back in the country to sing the role of Barbarina in NZ Opera’s production of The Marriage of Figaro, and she took time out of her busy schedule to chat with Nick Tipping about life as a professional opera singer in Germany.
