Fijians living in Tuvalu have raised their concerns over worker contracts and high airfares with Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama.

During a recent Talanoa session they also sought Mr Bainimarama's help over the deportation of two Fijian men serving life sentences for the 2009 murder of a fisherman in Funafuti.

The Prime Minister was in Tuvalu for the Pacific Forum Leaders meeting.

The director of the University of the South Pacific's Tuvalu Campus, Rosiana Lagi, told Christine Rovoi Mr Bainimarama assured the Fijian community he would look into the issues raised.
