Another delay in Bougainville and PNG key meeting

From , 12:50 am on 6 March 2020

The governments of Papua New Guinea and Bougainville were due to head into key talks today but they have been put off until Friday 13 March.

It is the second postponement of the meeting of the Joint Supervisory Body, the JSB.

The meeting of the two governments is to pave the way for negotiations over the results from last November's referendum on independence.

The Minister in charge of Peace Agreement Implementation, Albert Punghau, told Don Wiseman about the latest hold up.
