Tuvalu ratifies PACER Plus trade agreement

Tuvalu last month became the ninth Pacific Island Forum member country to ratify the Australia and New Zealand led regional free trade agreement, known as PACER Plus.

The nation's Prime Minister Kausea Natano signed the instrument of agreement in Funafuti on 31 January and the government is now expected to focus on its implementation.
