Rotuman is listed by UNESCO as one of the world's endangered languages.
And the Rotuman community in Aotearoa New Zealand are working very hard to preserve their unique language for future generations.
Sustainability of the language and culture is the the main focus of this year's Rotuman language week, which started on Sunday May 8.
