Removing legal blocks to the Marshall Islands participation in the Pacific Islands Forum will be high on the agenda of the next sitting of the country's parliament.
The Nitijela is due to resume next month and despite president David Kabua's absence from last week's Pacific Islands Forum the government is adamant this was only due to a domestic legal issue and had no bearing on the country's future involvement in the regional body.
