Fiji's National Budget for the 2023/2024 financial year will be announced on Friday morning.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has stated the budget will be people-centred, balanced and resilient, while still delivering on core services, investment in health and skill development, and improving infrastructure.

However, the People's Coalition government has also made it clear that this budget 'will not be business as usual', as the island country works to rebuild its economy which battles with unprecedented debt levels to its GDP.
