There were emotional scenes at the Honiara International airport yesterday as New Zealand-Solomon Islands athlete Jordan Evans-Tobata was reunited with her Father Wale Tobata who she had not seen in nine years and met her aunties and cousins who she had never met in real life.
The 19-year-old Otago University student will be making her international debut for New Zealand in the 400 metres, 800m, 4x100m and 4x400m relay events.
