1930s Refectory restored and reopened to the public

An historic building on Massey University's Manawatū campus has been restored to it's former 1930s glory and is now open to the public.

The Refectory originally housed a dining room and common area for staff and students to socialise, but has sat empty for several years while it awaited seismic strengthening.

Massey University Foundation director Mitch Murdoch talks to Jesse about the building's rich history.
