A new exhibition in Christchurch called the Ambassadors takes hundreds of souvenirs to transform them into works of art. Each trinket from around the world helps create a much larger piece of artwork to explore ideas about place, memory and cultural representation.
The artist behind this exhibition is Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland's Elam School of Fine Arts, Ruth Watson, talks to Jesse.
