Combating loneliness and reconnecting in Aotearoa

From Afternoons, 3:10 pm on 6 November 2023

The pandemic left some big marks on us, some you can see, some you can't. We learned just how profoundly impactful loneliness can be as we spent so much time away from family and friends.

It's a health issue that must be addressed urgently say the former director and deputy director of The Helen Clark Foundation, Kathy Errington and Dr Holly Walker.

In a book they've edited containing a series of essays, they explore the data and experiences of loneliness in New Zealand and what we can do about it.

The book is called Reconnecting Aotearoa Loneliness and connection in the age of social distance.
