Made in NZ: Vertical berry farming

Traditionally the strawberry growing season winds up around now.

The locally grown varieties disappear. Supermarket shelves fill up with expensive, but often dull tasting imports.

That is except for "counter seasonal" grower 26 Seasons. They're going to start harvesting in the next couple of weeks.

Their trick -  growing the plants, hydroponically in an old carpet dying factory.
