This week's critter is the Hairworm, also referred to by Nic Toki as the real-life Alien movie creatures!
The Forest and Bird chief executive explains they are a type of parasitic worm that lives in freshwater and can grow up to 2 metres long. They also don't have a mouth and absorb food through their skin.
