MSD has launched an investigation after a case worker allegedly "cracked a joke" to a Muslim woman about taking a holiday in Christchurch. Lisa Owen interviews MSD spokeswoman Kay Read.
*MSD updated Checkpoint later in the week, saying it had completed its investigation into this complaint. It spoke to the complainant, client and staff member. Ms Read said in a statement the staff member had spoken about Christchurch in the context of expressing sympathy for the victims of the Christchurch tragedy and client had no issues with the conversation.
